Hairborn® Derma Roller 1.5 mm
Weekly use of the derma roller stimulates blood circulation in your scalp. Stronger hair follicles provide a better foundation for hair growth. Use it in combination with the Hairborn® Growth Serum for the best results.
What does microneedling do?
The tiny needles create microscopic holes in the scalp. This activates blood circulation and stimulates the hair follicles. Your scalp reacts by repairing itself, and this recovery process is precisely what supports hair growth.
Why 1.5 mm?
1.5mm is the most effective length for stimulating the scalp and thus supporting hair growth. Deep enough to be effective, safe enough for home use.
Why our roller?
540 stainless steel needles, tested according to CE and ISO standards. The handle is firmly attached, allowing for controlled rolling without applying too much pressure.
Does this also work for beard growth?
Yes. The needles stimulate blood circulation in your facial skin in the same way as on your scalp. Many men use the roller on areas where their beard is thinner or patchier. Use it there a maximum of once a week as well.
540 Stainless Steel Micro Needles
Stainless steel for an even treatment. Sharp enough to be effective, safe enough for home use.
Replaceable after 3 months
Needles wear out with regular use. After 3 months of weekly use, we recommend a new roller for the best results.
Stimulates blood circulation
The needles activate the blood circulation in your scalp. Increased blood flow means stronger hair follicles.

Frequently asked questions
-
For most people, it feels like a strong tingling sensation. Not real pain. If it does become painful, you're probably rolling too hard or your scalp is irritated. Take it easy when you're new to it.
-
Use the roller a maximum of once a week. Your skin needs time to recover after the micro-punctures. Rolling more often does not make it more effective; you only increase the risk of irritation.
-
Yes, as long as you roll gently and in a controlled manner. 1.5 mm is the most commonly used and best-researched needle length in studies on microneedling for hair loss. Deep enough to effectively stimulate the scalp, but safe enough for home use when used correctly. Roll gently and in a controlled manner, and you'll be fine.
-
Allow your scalp at least 10 hours to rest after rolling. After that, you can safely apply the serum. Applying it immediately after rolling is not necessary; your skin needs to recover first.
-
Disinfect before and after use with at least 70% alcohol. Spray the needles thoroughly, let it sit for a moment, and allow the roller to dry completely. Afterward, store it in the provided box to keep the needles protected.
